Vegetables are not the most loved part of a meal in our household. Eating them more because we ‘should’ rather than because we actually like them, they’ve often taken the back burner when planning what to have for dinner. More often than not, instead of having a veggie as a side, I find myself sneaking them into a soup, casserole, or whatever else I am making just to get a serving of greens into our day.
Cheesecakes have always been one of those desserts that I’ve loved from the time I was a child. I remember going to my grandma’s house, and she would often have one ready to go for dessert after we’d all eaten dinner. As I grew up, one of the first desserts that I made on my own was a cheesecake from a recipe book that I’d found. I’d make two or three variations for family cookouts, and they always went over very well.

From the time we met in early 2007, my husband Anthony and I have always enjoyed comedy as a way to relieve some of our day-to-day stress and get some good laughs. From looking up funny animal videos, ‘stupid people’ clips, and whatever specials are on Netflix, comedy is a large part of our daily lives.
